Thinkin about staying at Perfect Vue for an ice fishing trip, but have never stayed there before. Just wondering if there is decent fishing within walking distance. (towards the Reach) I will have access to a 4 wheeler and a sled, but that will be a last minute decision based on ice conditions. My father in law can't walk too far, so he likes to be on his bike. If we can't get the bikes/sleds out, I may have to pull him around in my sled by hand..

Any help is appreciated

Good fishing straight out from Perfect Vue. You can also go to the church or make your way to Shermans/Thompsons. You can walk out 200 yds and be in good fishing areas

Thanks for the info Paul. And Tim....that's kinda the reason why I want to stay there, because I figure there will be nobody around and I'll have the whole Bay to myself...

Just a heads up.....If anybody is wanting to stay there this winter, I would call now. I just booked last night, and it sounds like it may be tough to get in. They have almost all cottages rented out to construction workers working out of town all winter by the sounds of it.
