Hi guys have not been down in while but was thinking of bringing the kids next week to try for some bass and pike any suggestions on where to go like trenton big bay picton hay bay just not to sure which is the best usally i just fish picton to glenora thanks.

The weed beds from the west side of Picton Bay are a good spot to begin for pike and bass and maybe a walleye and even a catfish.

The weed beds along the south shore from the McFarlene Ramp to the ferry are good also, at least three TV shows have been made there with good results.

Casting along the edges is the way to go - if you cast into the weeds, it becomes a pain cast and take the weeds off etc etc etc.....

That's where I would have a go - especially if you're used to that area.

If you're looking for bass, try any tree lined shore and cast real tight to the cover (Remember the Webmeister on Angler and Hunter)
