Gotta love Long Weekends...i think we should have one every weekend of the summer! :D

Took off Thursday night with the girlfriend and a good group of fishing buddies back to Quinte...It was supposed to be less fishing, and more relaxing...but you know, that never happends...

We hit lots of traffic Thursday night, making our normal three hour drive almost five....but we were determined to go fishing....so off we went, just after midnight....

Nothing biting, few hours sleep, and back on the water for 6am.

Fishing Most of Friday, but spend Saturday on shore due to high winds...Fished Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon we decided to try for some pickerel, and managed our limit... I should mention she took all but one pickerel... :D

Here's the best part, the pictures.

Althoug the bass were hitting, not in the numbers we were used too (i guess those 20 bass days just aren't always available, ) ... Although Saturday night, one his first cast of the evening, my good friend George caught the best bass of his life...

Taken on a spinnerbait, she went just below 20", and fat as any bass i've seen for that length...Although we didn't have a scale, he knew it was his best by far...

He also managed his best pike ever, needless to say, George was a happy camper.

Sunday was hot with bluebird skies...tough bass conditions...so we went walleye fishing!!! Quinte is pretty easy to catchem, so long as you get slow enough, and find the right water...

We spent two hours fishing for the marble eyes, and managed our limit....perfect eaters, all between 14-18"...Lots of perch as well, which we didn't keep.

The result of having a fisherwoman on the boat, a full livewell.

Best moment of the weekend for me was when Theresa almost had her rod ripped from her hands, while trolling a spinner rig...
