What a beautiful area! Stayed at Perfect Vue for the week. Nice clean place thank God for the wind because no air conditioners. First morning out I went and fished Sherman's Point. Caught a 4lbs walleye a 2lb walleye and a 1lber using a bottom bouncer with a worm harness in about 18 foot of water. Best fish of the whole week. Lots of Gobis though using that method. Later in the week I went and fished Thompson's Point and landed a 2.5 lber and a 3 lbers along with some smaller ones on Thursday morning. This time I was using Larry's spinners purchased at Perfect Vue - bright yellow and Chartreuse. On Friday I caught about 40 walleye in the same area from 10 inches to 16 inches. Lots of fun. Had a great time and can't wait to go back. Tried night fishing with pencil plugs during the full moon but to no avail. The walleye didn't start biting until the sun came up!
