Just got home from a weekend at Perfect Vue. Fished off Shermans boat launch Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening. In total 3 walleye landed, and 3 or 4 more lost at the hole with the biggest being 4.5 pounds. Not the greatest fishing, but did get a few for the table back at the cottage. Most of the fish hooked were on a PK Spoon in 24-27 FOW. The perch drove me nuts all weekend. Ice was 16 inches everywhere I measured, and was a good workout with the hand auger drilling holes for 5 people. The snow was nowhere near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. We had a quad, and only got stuck once, right at the launch. We probably walked 3 or 4 Kms total over the 2 days pulling my sled, and it wasn't that bad. I don't think I ever stepped in snow more than half way up my shin.
I don't get out on the Bay as much as I'd like to, cause it is a bit of a drive, and can get expensive, but just thought I'd offer a little bit of info of what we experienced over the weekend at Shermans. I'll be back down on the long weekend for my last shot on the hardwater this season.

Good Luck out there!!!
