Hi guys and gals,

can you direct me to a website or a canadian distributor where I can purchase some Heavy Duty Stretch 25+ Holographic?

I rather purchase from a Canadian distributor if possible.

Thank you!

Hey Dave,

I'd make sure had some Perch and Dr Death in my box :!: Other than Mann's try some like Rapala TD's in Firetiger and Clown. Also some darker colors work well to like black/gold combos. Just depends on the day :!:

Rebel Fastracs are another favourite :!:

Someone is getting serious about fall fishing, when the Mann's Stretch +25's are being discussed in August.

I got lucky on eBay last winter and rounded out my box for the fall.

I think BSP or Cabelas carry the stretch +25's - the colours may be geared to salt-water colours.

Hey, it's way too Warm right now and the walleyes are taking itty bitty spinners and worms - not them BIG lures WIG mentioned.

Waiting for colder water.

I mention them because he did say he was coming in November!

Great lures at that time for sure :!:

Hey AD!

Yes it is...Technically though, I believe they say it's from Picton Bay to Everet (Sp?) point which is at the gap to Lake Ontario :!:

Someone may correct me here! But I'm pretty sure! ALmost...Kinda...Just about definite :!:

It's intriguing to hear that someone is having success with the biggies. I'll also bet that they are fighting better than they do late in the fall. Definitely worth a try for anyone in the area....larry

The North Channel has been slow this summer for Lakers, but Aug. has been producing some nice Walleye and huge Sheepheads...just above the thermocline.
Contour trolling has also produced walleye around the Brother Islands, Big Bar Shoal and Pigeon Island.

You are fishing Eastern Lake Ontario not Quinte -- this is big water that is open to some of the worst weather Lake Ontario has to offer, so be careful out there.

see ya on the water...

Spend a fair bit of time in Port Huron Michigan and just finally discovered Boaters World (www.BoatersWorld.com). The wife and I were looking for a new top for our boat and discovered that these guys have a modest selection of just about everything a boater/fisherman could want, including a full selection of Mann's. When I was talking to the staff they said if I didn't want to pay shipping I could order by phone from that store and pick it up there next time in the area. I know it's not a Canadian outlet and can be a bit of a pain dealing with Customs but it is another outlet for sizes and colours.

As a side bar I'd like to do more fishing in the Port Huron area, I've only fished the river for walleye, and would love to hear from anyone in the Michigan area about bass and pike oppurtunities in that area.
Thanks for any help.

Bassn51 - take the grandkids fishin.

PS: Kind of ticks you off when your filling the van and boat with high test for 72 cents a litre in Michigan, can see Sarnia across the river and the tanker filling the station in Michigan has Ontario plates. Man are we getting screwed by the government in this country.

Hey et,

You mentioned around the Brothers for walleye....are they being caught now?

Also, what do you mean by contour trolling? Looking for good structure?
