Quinte Fishing

i was using a small [3/8 oz] kastmaster silver on one side
the other side had green sparkle tape on it
used 3 small minnows 1 on each of the treble hook
let it hit bottom then was going to reel 2 turns to kind of jig it
when the ole girl just slammed it on the upstroke
what was funny after i got her up and out of the hole and on the ice covered with snow we were checked by the lic checkers and they wondered what we were using so i showed them
ahh you need to use bigger lures than that
until i showed them the fish !!!
what ever works is my thoughts !
