I will be taking a few days off work to fish Walley in the Bay for the first time. (Was going to do it last year but work got in the way.)
Im planning to go up from Oakville May 8th and 9th.

Would anyone have a few fishing spots, Boat launch areas they are willing to share. PM me if you want to keep it private.

I normally fish Rice Lake unsing these methods with lots of luck.

trolling worm harness,
Casting crank baits,
Hair jigging in the weeds.

This year with the late spring the weedline will be a while yet before they hold walleye. The other techniques you mentioned will all work. I suggest you sit down when you have some time and use the search feature here. There is alot of useful info from past years but one needs to spend time mining it. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
