Sandy Rutherford was a pretty good friend of mine as he was to so, so many in the village of Wellington and PEC.
Just letting everyone know that there will be some heavy traffic in and around the Wellington harbour pretty soon. I would think there will be another citizen's armada out there when the weather is good, helping out the search.
Just passing this along so any anglers coming in for browns understand what's happening and why there might be increased boat traffic in the area. Most of the boats come from land on West Lake, but there might be a few launching at the public launches as well.

Thanks for posting Jason. Ice is out on my side of the lake, figured the search would be resuming soon.

As I understand it, a body has been recovered from the Wellington side of west lake this afternoon.

Fingers crossed parksy. The family needs the closure from such a tragedy.
