We went out at midnight Friday night and landed 2 fish near the ferry. 7.5 and 6.5 close to shore on the good old never fail Quinte classic....the clown patterned husky jerk. The bite trailed off and we pulled the boat at 4:30 am it was cold and windy. We tried again the following night and the winds were to high, the waters were really choppy, not fun in the dark! Gauge was reading 45 degrees water temp. We marked a lot of fish. Tight lines and good luck for the coming season.

My buddy and I tried running the buoys and not even a tickle. Ran from 6 am until 3 pm Saturday. Then came back at 6 pm until kciked out by the rain at 10pm. lots of boats and one that even ran over our lines and peeled off 500yds of line.... Arghhhh! That is two years in a row now that someone is careless.... Oh well, tackle store loves me I know. LOL

Hopefully we will have more luck later on this year. What am I saying??? OF COURSE we all will!

Fish ON!!
