It's been pretty quiet the last few days about the fishing, wondering if anyone has been out, anything being caught yet?
Looking forward to getting out!
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

you didn't happen to see any salmon with a wooly bug fly on their dorsal fin near the dam did you ?? I drifted one down the side of the river in front of a fish in the dark sunday morning, thought I was snagged, turned out I accidently got one on the dorsal fin, so broke him off (after almost getting my thumb bashed off by the fly reel handle spinning at 1000 rpms, ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!)

ouch, poor fish!! my bugger probably fell off the fish, I pinch down the barbs on my flies, especially with all those little baby smallmouth in there, caught 4 on saturday, all 3" they should be heading for warmer water by now. I'm thinking of going to the bay next sunday to throw some big flies to largemouth and pike.

also, just curious as to what you were using....... I got a ton of salmon stuff for my wife and got her a really decent spinning rod that hasn't seen a big fish yet.
