Hi well the time has come my company fishing trip to hay bay is only one more day away. I just wondering if anyone had much success in the flats. It sounds like it might be better in the narrows. Any advice on good area would be good I'm staying at bayveiw so I'll probably start around ram Is. But just wondering on a good direction from there.

Thanks
Still looking

Can't comment on Hay Bay but was out close to there last week. They are catching fish everywhere in the bay right now.... awesome year this year ! My buddy and i went 6 for 9 today in Belleville, all around 2 lb's. I was out in Picton last week and went 4 for 11 , most were too big to eat (4 lbs +) so they went back. Every weedline i have touched has had some fish in it. If you venture out of hay bay, try Mallory or directly across by the cliffs tight to the shore. I was nailing them there casting right into shore and pulling cranks out past the weedline. 5-8 FOW All on lures, nothing on live bait and all casting. Good luck !
