12 ft aluminum boat docking solutions ?

I have a 12 ft aluminum boat that I want to leave on Rice Lake tied to my dock but in a safe manner as to ride out bad weather when I'm not there .
I was wondering what the best solution is from anyone with experience with this :
I've heard of this this called Dock Shock that might work or Anchor Buddy ? dock whips ? a small boat lift would be too expensive.
I thought of getting someone just to whip me up a wooden boat shore cradle for it .

Thoughts ? Thanks

We do this on quinte and it works well so long as you have a fairly sturdy dock. Always have the bow facing outwards, thats half the battle. on your mooring ropes tie two loop knots about 24" apart. join those two loops with a black rubber bungee cord that is 12" long and pinch the hooks closed so they dont fall off. Moore the boat on the side where the prevailing wind pushes the boat away from the dock but be sure to have lots of bumpers incase the wind shifts. The bungee absorbs the shock of the waves and saves the dock.

However, this isnt fool proof, its only a 12', personally I would be pulling it out, saves alot of cleaning at the end of the season.

I would definitely make an easy wood ramp to pull it up. For the piece of mind, self draining... only way to go. You don't need much, just something with a roller or slippery surface on the end and maybe a trailer winch if you aren't strong enough to pull it up by hand. To launch, just lift the bow and roll it back in.

You can buy a trailer roller for the keel or just get a cheap kitchen cutting board; rip it up into the width you need and screw it down for your slip surface. No moving parts!

When I was a kid that is what I used for my 12 foot with 9.5. I could easily pull it up and launch by hand.
