Okay, so now we have other people who are even worse then snaggers :? I call them "cavemen" I witnessed a guy today put down his fishing rod near a run of salmon, and proceed to pick up giant sharp rocks, and hurl them at the fish, I think he managed to kill one.

If you are not getting results from 800-222-TIPS, consider taking a photo or filming it and either handing it to the authorities or the press (having an extra copy is always a good thing). Notifying both should ensure a positive result. Be quiet about it (filming or camera), but if you are serious..... press for action before the end of the short season. I would suggest that this could be grounds for charges on a few different items. Copy in your local MLA as incentive. Doing nothing only encourages further sillyness.

To any MNR enforcement staff viewing this. I realize this is hunting time.... but gentleman..... a simple proverbial flag waving is in order at a number of the local hotspots like Belleville, Trent R and Springside in Napanee at the very least.

I couldn't even say anything to him, I was in shock, later on downstream fishing, I kept thinking "did I really see that??" oh, he didn't even keep it, he threw it back in the water. I almost understood until that point, I thought "okay, maybe he's poor and needs something to eat really really bad" then after he threw it back, well, this guy is just sick and wants to see animals suffer. never going to let my cat outside with this guy around.
