This is the reply I got to my email.

The ramp is open and will not be closed this fall. The Marina and all the services it provides will be closed for the season starting October 14.

I am glad it will be open, but will the marina try to charge for parking in the lot there again?

Do you mean in the lot beside the old tip of the bay? If so, that is private property, not part of the municipal launch. They operate as a business centre and medical complex. Trucks and trailers should not be parking in that lot.

another thing to think of also is they are about to do some street construction I think some water sewer work to start very soon that could also take away a lot of parking spots for trucks and trailers could be some stressful times ahead if its a good season lets try to keep it civil guys lol

The boay ramp wont be closed. The quote to replace the tanks was higher then the budget, so they have to go back to council for aprroval which wont be until Dec.15, so I think you may see a spring closer.

We've been trying to get a couple hours with a shovel at the end of the West Lake ramp for a few years but no money for it, so now we're going to ask for a few seconds with a stick of dynamite and a bag of fertilizer.
