Ladies and gentlemen. Thinking about heading up tomorrow morning. I will be traveling from Cambridge to picton. I was hoping that somebody would give me the heads up if it's worth going up there for the last soft water trip. Thanks

Went for a drive yesterday morning stopping at Shermans Point and Huff Road. Shermans is open at the mouth of the bay from the point to Thompsons, that is it. From the red buoy at the mouth of the bay inwards is locked up and is a NOT safe. This being said the launch is out of action at Shermans. Huffs is pretty much iced over with a few small sections still open. If the night cold did their trick, that should be locked up this AM. I saw coming down River oad that there is a small opening in front of the Deseronto launch area and that is that.

We are all waiting to get on the ice, but safety is paramount at this time of year. Good luck

I plan on driving to Picton from Burlington on Sunday morning for one last day of fishing on the soft water. I planned on using the launch across at the Glenora Ferry ..

Looks like a hut on the Bay coming over the bridge this afternoon.
