A quick to retrieve the boat for winter storage has shown beyond belief that the WINTER is here.

Hay Bay is frozen from the east past the launch site near Shermans. Ice cracks have developed also. I wouldn't think the ice is all that thick but it's there.

The wind was blowing a ton from the SW, it wouldn't have been fun out there in front of the cement plant this AM.

Like Dandy Don used to Sing "The party's over - turn out the lights:" better sharpen up the auger blades.

Looking forward to next fall's walleye hunting season.
