reading the posts, looks like I picked a good weekend to head North for some trout fishing. Long 11 your drive, no fish Thurs night, Friday all day, sat morn, but saw some monster 5+ pound speckled that just were not interested ... was looking bad until Sat night and we finally got into some. picked up these nice chunky splake and one speckled. 1st time every through the ice and wow, what a fight from a 3 pound fish. Back to Quinte this Fri-Sat and hoping for better luck than my 3 fish count so far on 3 trips.
