I'm hoping that this snow is going to help. It's been rather slow at the Trenton end so far this year.

Should help a bit. Walleye like most fish prefer low light, morning and night for their feeding times. With no snow the light shines through the ice and makes the bite slower. A little cover should help us out I would think so stimulate their hunger

Guys,

Quinte walleye love cold sunny days. My experience too.

Me and a buddy and our boys out yesterday. Brutal walk out. Pulled a groin muscle. Got skunked to boot. Snow was a curse for us.

went out last night, slow bite, but iced one. Marked a ton of perch and a handful of walleye.

We've done well under sun, clouds, snow, rain, wind, whatever, fact is they just bite whenever the hell they want to lol and then just when you think you've got them figured out they'll do the exact opposite lol
