Took my 6 year old out this aft to try and get him his first fish through the ice. Launched at Huff's and fished the Reach from 3 to 6. Once again Walleyedreamer (Larry) met up with us and put us on fish. lots of markings but couldn't get anything to hit a buckshot, Mr. Champ or jigging rap, so downsized my son's sure to a very small Mr. Champ I use for perch fishing. shortly after he nailed a nice 1 pound eater and man was he ever excited. Made the trip right there. back down she goes and there's another, and another and another! After going 4 for 4, Larry and I were asking for lessons! lol. Put the same lure on and got 3 myself. all fish were under two pounds and kept 4 nice eaters. Once again, have to thank Larry for his generosity. This was the best trip ever.

That's great - a young guy with fish

Excellent!!!!!!

Love to see the youngsters with first fish, either hard or soft water.

Good for you....and nice of you to give your location today and even what you caught them on

World's funny....some wouldn't give you the time of day
When others would give you the shirt off their back!

Great report!

Sounds like the young lads got the knack! That's 2 kool! Heck I've heard of grown men sitting at Huffs all day and not even getting a sniff lol
