Huffs this morning. Met Snarfy and Wayne at huffs at 6:15. I had sled and them quad. Quad was dropping g into slush with 2 guys and full load. With 1 guy and no load it was just barley able to move around. Sled was fine and didn't drop into slush. By the time I left at noon slush was getting noticeably worse. Huffs road is plowed and no problems there. The fishing.... Was slooooow. A few fish moving around but they were belly to bottom and no interestst in any of the dozen different lures I used.

Same just south of Huffs / North of Shermans
- marked fish on and off in afternoon
Light biters... hooked 1 light fish maybe 2-3 pounds but got off
- group of 10 guys from different locations coming off ice at dark had only 1 three lb'er

I took my wife out for her first hard water fish around 3:30 until dark at Huffs my first time fishing that area and we got one nice sized perch and marked others but no hits. I didn't realize Dew Drop Inn didn't have debit and the owner gave me a dozen minnows trusting I would come back and pay him. You don't find people like that around too much anymore. thanks Dew Drop Inn you saved my wife's first ice experience and helped us to have a gret time on the ice. See you today to drop off the cash and some can food for your cause today to pay forward the generosity.
