Quinte Fishing

Hi guys, looking to see if anyone can tell me a place I can take my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son for a Saturday ice fish for perch. I took my son out on the BOQ in February and made him snowshoe 1km out, and we didn't catch a thing. I really need the kids to catch fish, without them having to work too hard at it. I worry I will lose my fishing buddies if they don't catch a few perch.
Any info, general location, bait etc... would be greatly appreciated!

Last day of walleye I went to Wellers Bay off Edward drive and caught a bunch of perch. Head out to around 16 FOW. There was a path plowed for the majority of the walk to make it easy going. I also hit a bunch a couple weeks back straight out from Aikens Road halfway across. And can't forget about Pointe Anne 250 yards out in front of the plant is usually a good spot too. I was thinking about heading to Indian island with the boys this weekend but that's a long walk.

The good ole tiny pink jig head with just a tip of worm usually works best for my boys.
