You know I wouldn't be against the Atlantic stocking if was actually paying off. I don't charter or guide so I don't rely on it he fishery for income. But the results have been rather dismal so far. I just hope they don't oversee the other salmonids before they disappear.

The results are worse than dismal! Over ten million fish stocked since 87 and still no returns! Even the MNR put an end to the program because they said it would not work. Even the best of the best biologists said it wouldn't work! But here we are still dumping them In The lake. The OFAH has recieved some major backing and sponsorship from the likes of OPG and others. And they just can't lose that money! The only good thing of it all is stream re-habilitation.
The thing that really pisses me off is OPG kills thousands and thousands of fish every year in there inflows, outflows, and screens in there pumphouses. But They don't bat an eye about it because they donate a million bucks a yr to the OFAH. With the bring back the salmon campaign. And then the ofah just flushes it down the toilet! t's been tried and tested SInce 87! But the OFAH won't tell you that! They will tell you it only started in 2005 and that its all on track!
