Quinte Fishing

I've been patiently waiting for a weekend with low winds. The smallies on the big lake are calling. Anyone have a crystal ball on when I can go? It's been like a month of windy weekends...... Wind rant over.

Sorry Dan...had the crystal ball on the deck Saturday night and the wind knocked it over...now it only predicts rain

I hear you Dan its been brutal lately. I think I am going to make the drive up Saturday morning and have one last kick at some buckets mouths even though the forecast is calling for 30k winds NW. I was just out on Rice last this past Saturday and when we launched at 6:30am its was probably 40 k winds and when we got off the water at 5 it was still 40 k winds lol.
Mother nature can sure be a real B**CH sometimes.

It can blow hard all it wants, due to recently being out of commission for al least 12 weeks.

That must have been Sunday jeepboy...I was on Rice all day Saturday and it was fairly calm most of the day until about 2 p.m. I remember cause I was P****D Off I could only get out 1 day on the long weekend...lol Like Dan, I've only been out once in the last month.
I'm coming down to the Bay in a few weeks for 4 days for the fall run. I hope this dam wind settles down by then. It's an expensive trip to be stuck in the hotel for a few days....
