made it out for a 5 hour fish on Friday 10/24 I was alone so not much I could do except drag a couple lures and enjoy a little much needed boat time. I first made a run out to keiths shoal and set up two lines Nothing to really brag about not a real good picture didn't see much bait and not many hooks I spent a couple hours trolling side to side up the middle and along the shoals then back down the south shore to glanora. no takers and as I said not a good picture on the finders. so I picked up and ran into the one line side and set up in the big hole and trolled SSW pushing closer to McFarland I must admit the picture was much much better inside a few bait balls here and there with a lot more fish marked. still no takers I fished until about 630pm and called it a good day on the water with one missed fish. top water temperatures were pretty consistent 55=56 degrees I was approached by the men from Glanora fisheries and there report to me was none of the reports they gathered were any better than my day on the water

I was out Friday as well set up across from Keith's shoal and trolled to the shoal and then towards the bat cave picked up a 10 lber across from the lighthouse on the south shore. He bit on a grey ghost reef runner 200 ft back from board. I marked quite a lot of fish in all depths, only one taker though.
