does anyone know what lures to use this time of year, i hope to get out this week, or on weekend, what depth are the fish usually, or could they be anywhere? I thought i was the only one who didn't ;have to work late today, the snow is melting here today...

Try any of these and you should get on to some fish.
Rapala DHJ12's in Gold/Black or Clown
Mann's Stretch 20 or 25's in Tiger or Silver/Blue

Storm Thundercranks
Bomber Long A deep divers > colour schemes similar to above
Luhr Jensen Fingerlings

For any lure that's only tracking at 10 - 12 feet attach a 1/2 ounce weight, (the rubber cores work pretty good) about 4 feet ahead of your bait. Keep the line light 8 - 10 lb. test. Use an electric transom motor if you're boat is small enough, otherwise grab a couple of in-line planer boards. Most active fish are in top 15 - 20 ft. depending on the day. Good luck.

Trying to get back out myself this week.
