I got out on Quinte today.About 20 people,1 fourwheeler and one hut out were i was(Big Bay). Two guys by me both got one walleye each and i lost one smaller one and iced one at 7 pounds , 27" long.I don't like to keep them over 5 pounds but i promised the wife and kids fish for supper and lost the smaller one.Anyone coming to the BoQ i would still stay away from the strong current areas like at the bridges. Was that you men hooting when that big fish hit the ice......I was reading you post and thought.....Hey those guys were beside us!!

This maybe you or the guys that came out just before, the closest two guys are with me.

I managed two small ones, got them on...you guessed it...a small Mr. Champ green. I just got down from L. Simcoe...that little Mr. Champ killed about 100 or so perch in the last week and she slayed these two small eyes the other night.

take care duber....by the look of your walleye and mine...I owe you a beer.

Hey Slug.
I didn't do any hooting and holering but i did hear the guys that did.I was over by the blue hut that was out.I was the closest guy to the hut.Caught my fish on oldfaithfull as well.Pretty hard to beat the "champ" :D .We will have to hook-up one of these days.If we ever get some good ice i will have my hut out in the area we were the other night. My hut is black with red refective tape in the middle. She is ready to go we just need some good ice.I hope to get out this weekend depending on what the weather does.

Tight lines,
Wes

PS:I will take you up on that beer sometime :D .

The ice is looking like crap on the bay after this dam rain. I'm gonna try to make it down again this weekend too. Hopefully there is some snow left on the Macaulay Mountain the young lad wants to snowboard some.

My have to go for more perch on Simcoe to satisfy that itch...
