I was out last night to the red buoy. Right around 5" of crappy ice.
The bottom 2" were black ice. We took the ATVs, after seeing many other ATV, sleds and an argo, out and broke through the crust in a few places.
It should be good today but after that I'm going to stay off until we get some consistantly cold weather.
There was quite the crowd at Bain Park Buoy but I imagine conditions are the same if not worse.

Cant see there being any safe ice by friday.. Not a chanve with these temps..i hope so but thinking on getting one of the boats ready
