Been doing a lot of shopping. And have had the normal offshore planer boards. I have been looking at the mini offshore planer boards. And I am really considering buying them. I like the compact of them. My real question is if anyone has used them and how do they work. Do they perform well? The price is great on them. Just want some advice and having a second set

They work great, will they get out as far as normal size off shore boards, NO. Are they good for pulling a bait that pulls as hard as a reef runner 800, nah. If you want to add two more rods to your arsenal and just get them out of the boats wake area they are great. They will bury a little easier than "normal" size boards but they also allow you to feel a fish a little better.

I thought they would be good for light baits like spinners/ harnesses or small cranks. I've thought about getting a pair too.
