Was out fishing with TylerCurt yesterday, south of Amherst Island. Looking for lakers. Couldn't buy a bite. Did find the odd mayfly and their cousins and friends
Cheers Rob

I can see Lake Ontario from my house and we haven't seen a mayfly for 2 weeks, thought their season was over, all my head nets and bug gear was safely at home on the shelf, still get that feeling that I have some on me
Cheers Rob

Midges for sure. Lotsa folks call these guys mayflies. However, they are two distinct critters.
