Could be worse, 17 bucks to launch at Portsmouth, in Kingston. a tax payer paid for marina.
Every where i go, i seem to pay at least $10. Lots of boxes all over the place, where guys use ramp, but don't put money in box.
Personally i think the solution to these pay boxes, is anglers coming together and holding some kind of fundraiser, And possibly finding a cheaper way to spend these funds to get work done. Citys seem to pay top dollar for these ramp maintenance jobs. If i saw a sign at ramp maintained by Fireball Construction etc.. it would give me a chance to see quality of work they do. chances are next time i needed a project done i would see sign and give them a call..
End of the day townships don't seem to have the money.
