Today I took 3 of my students from my high school fishing club fishing on the Bay of Quinte with Greg Amiel (Fishing4Tails Charter). None of them had ever fished Quinte and only 1 had ever caught a walleye.
The action was off and on throughout the day, and we had a bit of bad luck losing a few fish in a row, but we stuck with it and Greg kept us on some active fish and we finished the day catching 9 or 10 walleye and 1 small sheephead, and losing 6 other fish. The big fish for the day were an 11 pounder caught by me and a 12 pounder caught by one of my students, only his second walleye ever.
Thanks for a great day on the water Greg, good weather, good fishing and company.
Hoping to head back out next Sunday, without the students this time.
