Buddy couldn't figure what he was marking on his finder, Was a couple feet thick.
So next time out he took his Aqua-View, dropped the camera down and couldn't believe his eyes, Billions of small shrimp.
So guys when you're out fishing Walleye and Perch, that cloud you see may not be bait..

These shrimp are like Mysis shrimp the article states. Mysis shrimp were a food source for alewives if I remember correctly. It may not be a bad thing.

Water fleas can be so thick that they show up like bait fish.

May be great source of protein for smaller predators and large ones alike ?!

Lets hope the fish adapted as when gobies invaded the lakes.
