You fisherpeople that are at home daydreaming and watching T.V. are relly missing out. Yesterday was an unbelievable day. The bite was on big time. The people that were out last week and working the bay to find fish, really found them. One group of guys that came in this morning to the store put a total of 33 walleye on the ice.The one fellow said he never, in his life has thrown so many five pounders back down the hole. Another group of 3 guys put 10 on the ice by 9:00 am yesterday. yet another group of 2 guys put 11 on the ice by 9:30 am yesterday. I had good reports all day yesterday and some not so good. The fellows that did'nt do to good were the people that went back to there old spots and did not explore. After that bad weather we went through they should have relized that fish habbits change. We now have real good ice in front of big island and at herkamer but you have to work and find were they are. I'm going to get reports back today on Pete's point and Point Anne so as soon as I find out on ice conditions for these two areas I'll let you know.
