Quinte Fishing

Hello had anyone been to this lake before??? I am heading up there in Feb and was looking to get out ice fishing.

My day started out great, I woke.

This lake is also known as Buck lake. There is Lake Trout and Ling in it. I've only fished it a few times, spring and winter. I've never caught any but the fella I go with fishes it quite often. He usually has good luck.

Ice fished it a few years ago. No idea where the good spots are but we we just tried to stay outta the wind. 3 of us limited out in a matter of 3 hours. Nothing over 5 pounds, but my cottage is on mazinaw and talking to people in Cloyne and some locals they say they are getting a bunch around 10 pound range now. It's stocked with lakers so the ones we got a few years ago we're new fish. I will be heading there soon as I hear the ice is safe.
