We had hoped to get out on Thurs afternoon, BUT, decided valor was the better part of survival.

The winds were howling and we passed til next week.

The weather was up and down yesterday, snow squalls at 1000, freezing rain at 1100 and dropping temps and higher winds. Then in the late afternoon, the freezing rain returned and covered the cars and roads.

Late last evening, the temp rose and all the ice melted and this morning, we have weather warning for the HIGH winds for all of Quinte.

Apologies to those looking for info on the ice at Hay Bay.
