Quinte Fishing

The 10th annual Cops and Kids fishing derby is being held at Victoria park on Sept 16th 9am-noon. The first 400 kids will get a free tshirt, lunch for kids under 13 is free and derby prizes too. It's a great program and koodos to Pat Commeau and Belleville Police Services for putting this on every year. It's a great way to get the kids out from their screens and introducing them to the sport we all love. If you know some young kids let their parents know.

A bump for this great event, the forecast looks good too. A follow up event to bring the kids to on the same day at 4pm at the George St launch is the Quinte Fishing Series Classic.
