Good day all:
I have recently moved down from Sudbury to Belleville. I have been fishing for the last 50 years for all species, but I have never fished in an area so weedy as the Bay and it is taking some time to get use to this change. Although, the crappie fishing around Sudbury was hit and miss and very localized, I still managed especially in the winter to have some success. I try to get out once a week on the Bay. Although I have done quite a bit of research on crappies for this area, the write-ups or articles are quite few and far between. I would greatly appreciate it, if anyone could provide some insight on crappie fishing in the Bay of Quinte or other local and regional areas. I am really looking forward to the fall fishing here as I will leave my boat on the Bay until mother nature kicks me to shore and into the ice fishing mode.
thanks in advance to anyone who has some insight - good or bad to offer.
