Going to head to Huffs tomorrow to try a new spot. Does anyone have an address/directions to how to get there from Highway 2? And is it paid parking?

The easiest way is to take Center Street, cross the bridge over the Napanee River and turn right at the light on County Road 9. Follow it for 17 km. Huffs is on your right. the launch is at the bottom of the hill.

There are numerous no parking signs that people chose to ignore at their risk ($50 fine) or I recommend you pay the $5.00 ( honour system) to park in the nearby field that has been cleared by the local land owner.

Is the field for parking pretty obvius/noticeable? I don't want to park in the wrong area lol. And is there like a bucket or something you put the 5$ in? I think o have an idea where it is I'm sure I pass it on my way to shermans

You can’t miss it, it is on your left there is also a sign. There is a white box to put your payment.

I hope people will continue to support him because we are running out of launch sites on the Reach
(McPherson is now private and fenced off)

Be careful out there, I was out on Tuesday and everywhere is slush. Drilled one hole at a wet spot that was maybe 2". Most everywhere else is a good 4"+.

Also parking is on the left down Huff's Rd. Can't miss the signs but it's a good 150 yards from the ice. Enjoy the walk

There were a couple of sleds out on Thursday, but I wouldn't do it. The ice is way too spotty.
