The Deseronto Park launch is ice free, the dock isn't in but wide open as of today.. There appears to be some ice in Mohawk bay but towards the bridge is clear as is the reach..

Went down yesterday. Great day on the Bay.

The dock anchor looks in tough shape. Those metal pilings have never been taken out before.

Hope they get it sorted out for the opener.

Thanks for the info.

The dock is a straight launch towards Belleville or Picton and is nice cement. Not sure about lakers ect but is nice to use to get the boat ready for spring with lots of parking and easy to get in and out of. As for crappies I have spoken to a few guys that catch them around the island..

Great thanks, now could you get the water temp up to 45/50 degrees so I can check them out, Walleye are great but nothing beats a feed of fresh Crappie

I just launched at Deseronto because it was open. I think the trout are closer to Bath.
