I just called the local dealer and have a new one on its way. I was planning on replacing that part anyways as it looks a bit weathered and beaten. I just hope its no something on the motor end of the connection.

Hi Ginner

I have 6hp suzuki kicker on back of my boat. I run “t” connector fuel line, one to main motor one to kicker. Works well. The steering is connected to the main motor with steering rod. The kicker turns tandem with main motor steered by steering wheel.

6hp kicker throttle control is controlled at tiller and manual start and manual tilt.

My net is in back of the boat next to kicker, turn off the kicker, grab the net.

This set up works flawless for me, troll all day long, turn off, tilt up, back to seat, fire the main motor and ride off to sunset.

I got er all sorted out now and everything installed and working great. Got gas to come up through the line finally. Installed a new end on the fuel hose that connects to the motor and no more drips or air sounds. Got my steering rod installed from kicker to main motor and I originally thought I would have to take it on and off all the time when not using kicker but both motors tilt and steer perfect with it connected all the time and kicker all the way up and main all the way down. very happy with the way it tuned out. Thanks to all for the suggestions and guidance.
