Quinte Fishing

If u know me u know I am not much on walleye anytime and usually only fish them when the weeds are up in the spring but I do love my panfish fishing. The jumbo perch bite has been fantastic this week, with non stop action. I am using Heddon Sonics in two colours and they r taking the bait by the front hook most of the time, they want it! I am fishing on the south east end of northport shoal. I will not give any ice conditions because this part of the bay is very sketchy and I only want to be responsible for myself. If your not catching any walleye, downsize and have a blast with some jumbos to pass the time until the walleye bite begins. Damn good tasting fried up with some potatoes and Heinz brown beans. Time to get ready and head out!
