Launched out of pt Anne around 12:30. Couple of inches of the snow which isn't much but just enough to make pulling the hut out a work out. We walked out about a km and were settled in and fishing before 1:30. I had cymbals with me and he's 76 yrs old. My hero, hope I can still pull a hut a km out on the ice when I'm his age. Ice is approaching a 10-12". I didn't put a measuring tape on it just a guesstimate. At 2pm Cymbals yells over he's got one. Raced over to give him a hand and he iced a nice 10lb even on the scales. Came on a green /silver thing looked like a pimple. After that things were quite with the odd fish coming through. I lost one half way to the hole at about 4pm. The perch were scarce with the odd school hanging out. At 5pm I hooked into a good fish and after a good battle had it on the ice. It weighed 11.11 lbs. Biggest I've iced a a few years. Nice to shake the skunk following me around for the last couple outings
