Quinte Fishing

Just got back from a great flyfishing day with a good friend . WE went out with the intentions of hooking up with walleye and crappie. zeroed out on the walleye but had a lot of fun with some crappie,sunfish, rock bass, perch and pike. Nothing big but we did have a lot of fun. This was the first time My friend fly fished and he also found out that it is a great way to fish from a boat. Its to bad we didnt get into any walleye but maybe the next time. I have had some great days in the past from walleyes on the fly rod and those days will always be cherished. I know after today that my friend will have another means of having fun and catching fish when he is out and about. I can hardly wait for bass season and show him that bass on the fly is a lot of fun and excitement exspecialally those smallies. gotta go....... so you all have a gret day fishing but be save......... yes, smallies on the fly !!! month and a half to go. great for summer fishing when it's too hot for trout on the fly, and bass aren't as mean as trout to a fly fisher, they are always willing to play with you. no head games with fish, unless it's those few that are 5 - 6lbs ones in the river who will do nothing but gawk at you while you cast everything you have to them.
