I pulled the boat out at the arena, the launch closest to fresco. There was a drop off with a "V" cut into the concrete and my tire found it's way into it. The tread was pulled off the tire as I drove it out. Kind of hard to see what you are getting into with the dead weeds floating in there.

That would be frustrating. I would expect a public launch to be in good repair.

Hopefully, if the City is aware of the hazard, they'll fix it.

Ive often thought a few whole bags of cement would fix that drop off. Same thing at the launches by the OPP shop.

The town is working on upgrading its launches! Mayor Jim Harrison recently spoke at our tournament and promised that things were in motion!

May not be the ramp your tires look just like mine. I just took a trip out to Alberta with my trailer and had 2 tires do the same. apparently the tires got warm and separated. Had to change one in Jasper National Park and the other in Thunder Bay.

It is a 10 minute drive from the launch to my home. You can see where the tire was pinched and narrowed right at the tread damage and the steel belts are lifted a bit. Good carlile tire wasn't cracked always garage parked. Just really crappy launches. I bet if they do fix them up we will have to pay to launch. Not many free places left.
