Quinte Fishing

As expected the beautiful sunny day on sunday drew out the crowds to the bay with over 24 boats cruising the lighthouse area. We were out early and did well with 4 in the boat before lunch. No monsters but one at 30 inches and three eaters, one was so small it never even tripped the flag. The lure of the day for us was a perch pattern TailDancer but our Bandit did alright, both at 180 - 200 feet behind the board. With the closing of the Glenora Ferry ramp I guess we will have to put in at Bath and brave the Gap next week. Oh yeah and we found some floating hardware that looked like it spooled off the reel and floated away.

I love your description of "The Sunday Circus"! So fitting! I call it the Gong show myself! I was one of those 24 boats out there. I actually don't mind that so many people are getting out to enjoy this great fishery, just like you and me! I'm glad you hooked into a few and it was certainly a beautiful day to be out on the water. It was warm enough, I was able to take my heavy coat off for a few hours in the afternoon. Not bad for the end of November! Thanks for your report and picture!
