Last year I was catching more sheepd head the walleye and I haven't caught one, in my last 5 outings year

They are around. Sometimes you won't get any and other times you can fill a boat. They sure are a good fight! They are a schooling type of fish-catch one and more are sure to follow....Larry

15lbs!! Wow, that musta put up one heck of a fight! We caught a 10lb'er on the opening weekend and that thing almost spooled my partner. I don't know why those sheephead there fight so great, cuz the ones around here don't put up half the fight. They are fun to catch, especially when the eyes aren't biting.

Apparently there's been a virus going through them the last couple seasons - hence all the dead ones on shorelines last year. Amen I say...less psych-outs thinkin it's a 'horse' walleye when they hit!!
