Hello fellow fisherman.
Once again I'm hoping to try my luck fishing Quinte. Last year I fished Weller's Bay and Potter's. I am planning to try both places again this long weekend. Has anyone tried either place and if so what are the ice condition like and are the fish active? I will be staying in Trenton so if it looks good I might try going on Quinte from there also. I'm from Northern Ontario so any tips will help. lol

Thanks for any info

I fished Wellers, lots of ice. Potters you know have to pay using their APP. Try off of Aikins Rd or Onderdonks which is closer to Wellers bay. A Swedish pimple with minnows or any silver jig works. Any colour can work. I also use a single hook with a minnow on my second line. Using a bobber if warm enough.

Good luck.

Day 1 Went to Wellers Bay. Caught a couple small perch marked a couple fish and seen a pike swim past my hole but wouldn’t bite. Might try a different location today.
