Quinte Fishing

I have not fished the Quinte area in some time now and I am definitely not a walleye specialist (it seems like I am not specialist of any species anymore), but, I was thinking of coming down for Tuesday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Thursday.

Would the bigger fish still be out in the lake or are they moving there way in now? What would you suggest for a launch point, Picton, Sherman's Point (I have launched at Picton once and Sherman's numerous times a couple of decades ago) or Waupoos? I have never put the boat in at Waupoos and the pike fishing there looks intriguing, fun and relatively protected water.

Any suggestions/recommendations or comments would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I will likely be going it alone.

Fishing has been really tough for a while. Been fishing Glen Island and Sherman’s last few weeks with little success nor have the other boats been landing much either. Glen Island was decent 2 Saturday’s ago but other than that been tough. Marking fish a lot but they don’t seem interested.
Hopefully they’ll get active soon

I am hitting the water Saturday, going to try at the gap and go from there, hoping to cooler temp and wind will have the bigguns starting to roll in.
