Was out to fish on Tuesday AM with Ohio Joe and New York Joe, it was New York Joes' first trip to Hay Bay this year and his motor still wasn't repaired so he had no boat to fish with.

We headed out around 0900 and decided that Thompsons Cove would be a good starting point. Arrived and found five boats there.

Started trolling from Thompsons Pt past the moored sailboat and along the 12-13' range. Ohio Joe hit a fish right away, three passes and three fish.

Looked at New York Joe's set up and changed it adding a sliding bullet sinker and a longer leader with the Uzick Spinner. Within Ten mins he had a fish on. He felt great.

We moved further along the weed line and opposite the silo we hit a hot spot. Every pass we had a fish on and the best was the double header with New York Joe and I, talk about a one armed paper hanger!!!!! we landed both fish.

All the fish were caught on the Orange Uzick Spinner using a motor oil coloured 5"plastic worm.

The total at 1300 was 18 fish. We had a great morning.

The bites' still on.

Have fun on the weekend.

Great report, as always, Superdad! If you can, bring your digital camera next time and post some pics. Always look forward to your (and others) posts. The fishing here on Onieda Lake in New York has been the best its been in years, but I still love monitoring and fishing on the BOQ. Enjoy your summer and thanks again...
